Literally meaning 'Seven Waterfalls', we have chosen to call our Restaurant & Lodges 7 Cascades, it being located in the near vicinity of the Waterfalls. With its 11 Waterfalls and 13 abseils, deep ponds, cliff jumps and surrounding lush green vegetation, the Tamarind Falls, 7 cascades, without no doubt, represent one of the most spectacular natural sites of Mauritius.Our Restaurant & Lodges are surrounded by luxuriant vegetation, lakes, rivers, Waterfalls providing plenty of opportunities to experience nature like you never have before. My husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant as we were very lost on a day's driving, and although they didn't seem open we asked if there was any chance we could have some lunch. Opened only from Monday to Friday for lunches only. Give us a phone call for availibility. A Creole traditional restaurant in Mauritius, a unique know-how .... Between the famous Rougaille Creole sausage, cang mocked cabbage and salted fish, traditional curry chicken creole, or broth 'zourite and coconut chutney' Escale Creole remains the TABLE where you and your guests can make the unique experience of a "real Manze Lacaze" , hearty and generous !!! In a large veranda, we can serve between 2 and 50 seats on large tables with traditional gingham tablecloths. Our "table d'hote" allows each client to help himself laid flat on the table well Mauritian way, so that everyone is free to be reserved if desired

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we went to Eureka museum, and we're glad we did. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Their style of serving food gives you the opportunity to sample all the great Mauritian dishes. We will come back before we leave the island for sure.

Seems like a no thrill type of restaurant. Decor isn't much, the food is reasonably price, tastes good and the staff are alright. Don't expect too much for the price though.
The restaurant is situated a little bit out of the way means you need to get your transport organised in advanced. One last thing, do check if they are opened and also have tables available as once you're there, there's not much for you to do in the neighbourhoods as there's only houses.
But no complaints though... after all you do get what you pay for.

It is a cosy place with pleasant employees. The place feels comfy and is perfect for quality time among friends. The service is great. I still remember when I was there with my besties on a cold rainy afternoon and had hot chocolate. It has a homie feeling and I highly recommend it. Even if you are solo, grab a book, have a coffee or hot chocolate it is comfy as well. The cakes are delicious especially the chocolate mud cake and the cheese cakes.

Once every month we go out to the restaurant. And from some time now, Mandarin Restaurant has been the only place we go to. Fresh sea food. Go there for the authentic 'chasow', pork cooked in honey! Hmmm!! The best ever! People who don't eat pork should go somewhere else and refrain from forcing it to change its menu! Easily accessible, the restaurant is very well situated in the centre of Vacoas. Parking is safely guarded by a very sweet gentle guy who happens to be deaf and dumb.

This place is a good chinese restaurant and the price is right.For dinners last orders are 2130 hrs .The bar list is minimalist but the quality of the food erase this.
