Sultan Bathery, previously known as Sultan's Battery or Ganapathyvattam, is a town and municipality in Wayanad district of Kerala, India. The largest city in Wayanad district, it is the headquarters of Sultan Bathery taluq. It is a quiet and peaceful town. The place came to be known by its new name after Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan invaded the region and used the Jain Temple located here as a battery. This is one of the more "fancy" looking restaurants in a small town like Sulthan Bathery. We ate the breakfast buffet here which was complimentary as we stayed at Mintflower Residency. There's a sweet bakery next to it called Mathai's which has some fun snacks/desserts to pick from post dinner. Some reviews said to avoid this restaurant completely but didn't seem all that bad either.

When we stayed in hotel mint flower, we searched and found this hotel and impressed by the taste. Its just a simple hotel but serves Delicious food. We went for daily dinner and the hotel owner become friends with us. We took a selfie during our last day dinner.

Visited this place while coming from vythiri for lunch. Both veg and non veg was good. The chilly chicken biryani and Hyderabad biryani was very tasty and delicious. The chilly paneer was spicy and tasty. The mint lemon soda juice was very refreshing. Value for money. Will recommend this place for good food.

Different types of walnut cakes, all very tasty. Tried all along with snacks like samosa etc. Only thing I felt that the staff were not courteous enough to explain and recommend to tourists. Management need to look into this.
