Our server was very good and she was friendly too! I love popcorn, this was served as an appetizer. The walleye was a large piece and was good. A pleasant dining experience with family and friends! ?

Exterior looks run down (might not be the restaurant's fault if it is just a tenant in the building). Still, I should have listened to my gut and went elsewhere.

We ordered a pulled pork sandwich (not good) and a hamburger (came cold). The banana split ice cream was softer than it should have been. Although the staff was friendly enough, the place seemed a bit disorganized, and service was on the slow side.

Not recommended based on our visit.

Not much to look at, either inside or outside. This being the only negative about the Big Tap. The bartender was also the waiter, and he really hustles to keep up with a loaded bar. Food is above average and well worth the small prices. Give it a try, I will definitely be going back.

Attached to the Stoney Point Resort is a restaurant/bar/gift shop. We opted for the "porch" overlooking the canal. It is on a major highway, so not as pastoral as one would think, but we were inside as opposed to the outside tables along the docking side of the building. The decor was very Northwood's tourist meets gift shop, but clean. Our server was attentive and offered us the 'specials" of the day. We enjoyed the salad bar with a nice variety of crisp veggies and so on. Two of us opted for the chicken parmesan served on a bed of angel hair spaghetti, the others had the chicken wrap and broasted chicken platter. I did not enjoy the parmesan chicken as the breading was soggy and chicken inside dry. also my spaghetti had been cut into 3 inch bits as if for a child. My brother had the same and did ask for more cheese. The wrap was good and the broasted chicken crisp and juicy. The curled and thin potato chips were a hit, but all agree they needed a dipping sauce. All of the other 3 diners had a dill pickle on their plates, but not mine. Odd mistake as I am sure a dill pickle doesn't lend itself to chicken parmesan anyway. The chicken parm I think was merely a poor (for me) menu choice. Noticed on certain nights they do offer an all you can eat buffet which would be good for a family dining or larger appetites. A comfortable family dining place generally.

We ate here twice since we were guests at the hotel. Our evening waiter was very attentive and the food was average. Our morning service was not good. With the exception of the hostess, who seemed to be taking care of the customers more than the server, the service was not good. One lone gentleman sat for at least 15 minutes before even being acknowledged by the server. Coffee was slow in coming out and there were only about 3-4 tables in the restaurant. Food was ok both morning and night, but staff could use some training on customer relations..

371 is as authentic small town northern Minnesota as it gets. Locals sit at the big table near the door and roll dice to see who is buying the coffee. Strangers are noticed. Good road food as it near the intersection of two major highways. Breakfast is the best bet. They are known for their huge pancakes. They slather the pancakes in butter so if you don't like that scrape it off. I like the skillet breakfast. Nothing fancy here. No surprises. Popular spot for take out. As the owner is a tribal member (it is surrounded by Leech Lake Reservation) smoking is allowed here. Bad news for non-smokers is the non-smokers area is in the back and you have to walk through the smoking area to get to it.
