I've run around Wreck Point every 2nd day for 20 years. Cars have always stopped to take in the great views - up and down the Capricorn Coast and across to the Keppel Islands. It's a great spot for tourists to get their bearings. Almost everyone, including long-time locals feel compelled to slow down, or stop every time for the incredible views! There have always been rough paths around Wreck point, but they were not 'safe' for everyone - and as our population grows, it is great to see a family friendly, three-tiered track down to a few, new, interesting, informative monuments that were built by the service clubs. It is great to see a proper parking-lane there now too! Perfect for the 10 mins or so people need to check out the topography, walk down to the 2 lower monuments and take their pictures.

RiverFeast is a unique venue in the heart of Bundaberg. Located on the Burnett River, RiverFeast is a popular Friday nightlife spot in the biggest waterfront beer garden in Bundaberg. Transformed from Bundaberg's old Marine College facility, RiverFeast has a variety street food options, retail outlets, free live entertainment and two bars, stocking local and Australian good craft beers, ciders, spirits and wines. RiverFeast also hosts a number of speciality events including Oktoberfest and the Chili and Lime Fiesta.
