Bad Goisern doesn't offer a great deal in choice for vegetarians so we found this place a godsend.great food,fast friendly service and a decent price.

In all honesty, there is nothing to like about this restaurant except perhaps its central location. The food is horrible, overpriced and a disgrace to Italian - or any other cuisine for that matter. Poor service. Cleanliness is an unknown concept in this place. The only thing going for it is the lack of other options in the small town of Hallstatt, which is not at all equipped to handle the incredible number of visiting tourists.

This really is the only place to eat out at in Obertraun. But you'd want to even if there was competition in town. Delicious pizzas. Excellent beer. But be warned it is tiny and books out. Apparently we were very lucky to get a table but it involved waiting at the front for 20 minutes. There's even a two lane ten-pin bowling alley attached.

This is our first visit to Halstatt, we saw cafe near the lake, we want to have some coffee and good time. Coffees were cold, service was slow and waiter was extremely aggressive.Our experience was very disappointing...We did reply to your additional comment from Jan 23. As it has been your sincere desire to send us your negative feedback even twice, we want to assure you again that we are very sorry that you have been disappointed in our premise.Anyhow, we hope that you had another nice stay in beautiful Austria.

This place has great food - the baked lasagna bolognese was excellent as was the bacon wrapped, cheese filled sausage. Has a nice outdoor patio and pleasant indoor seating as well. Service was great. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Obertraun.

Small, quiet and friendly, I stayed in Hallstatt for 4 days and even though the place is beautiful the restaurants were at best mediocre.......my last night here we were looking for somewhere to have a lovely meal to celebrate my partners birthday. Well this is what I was looking for.....it's not fine dining it's not even that special but the place is spot on. The owner is a really friendly (English speaking) man and the cosy comfortable atmosphere is what I was looking for......it's pizza or pasta type of place but don't let that put you off. Set in a back street alleyway it's off the beaten path and just what we needed to unwind from a day taking in the sights. Wish we'd found this place sooner .
