Pizza Sam's

Ran across the street for a quick sandwich. There was a horrible snow storm while I was there. Most of downtown was closed. I was thankful Pizza Sams was open. Not only was the staff super friendly but the sub (I think Big Louie) was delicious. Highly recommend!

Very average party store. Super friendly service tho. Run by an Indian guy and his wife. Good selection of single serve ice cream cones, Ice cream bars, and Ice cream single cups.

The Maple Grille Restaurant and Brewery

Excellent food, homemade beer and a cool-looking restaurant (from the inside). From the outside, it looks like a metal storehouse building where a farmer might park a tractor for the winter. When you arrive, you wait in line to pay for your food/drinks before being seated, which made for an efficient experience. My favorite dish was actually the potato and squash side, which was DELICIOUS and refreshing to skip french fries or chips for once. My only gripe is the country music that was constantly playing in the restaurant. Some of the decor is also a bit too Cracker Barrel for me.

5 business colleagues had dinner here. The loaded nachos were great to share. The french onion soup was big and excellent. The Chicken Asiago was OK. Basically grilled chicken on mac and cheese, but it was tasty. Skillet cookie was very good, the chocolate covered cake thing was average. Good beer and wine and drink selections. Definitely would come back for the service and drinks and not expect as much from the food...not that it was bad, just not 5 star stuff...good bar and grill food.Thank you for the comments. We pride ourselves as a big step above bar and grill food so I hope you do come back and try some other items. Our steaks are amazing, the Florentine Ravioli is a great vegetarian option and we even have a gluten friendly menu. Again your comments are very much appreciated, keeps us on our toes and makes us work harder for the 5th star!
