I went on this experience with four friends who were complete beginners and were a little nervous beforehand but the horses were very calm and relaxed so they quickly gained confidence. I have some experience riding and thoroughly enjoyed it as did my friends. The horses are really well cared for and had a huge paddock which is quite rare in Andalucia. The views in the countryside were beautiful. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced riders, we will definitely be returning.

Finca Cortesin Golf Club

Course in excellent condition. Unmatched service levels, a real “bucket list” experience. Greens in far better condition than Valderrama, Sotogrande or La Reserva, all of which are superb. This part of Spain is blessed with wonderful golf courses, and for me this is the one that has the best overall visitor experience

Booked online for 13.44 tee time in early August for a 2 ball for 100 euros including buggy which is great value in comparison to a couple of its neighbours Course conditions was fantastic, fairways watered and even in mid-summer the balls held the fairway and weren’t rock solid like some courses on the Costa Del Sol. The views are stunning when played up to top of the course. Each hole is different, and separate from the next. So long as your relatively straight the holes are wide and forgiving for most handicaps. Definitely would play again, in the heat of the day the course is deserted, a buggy is essential with the climbs and long walks between greens and tees. The near 600 yard downhill par 5 8th hole is special, more so if you can par it!! There’s quite a few half finished developments but don’t let that put you off playing Dona Juliana.
