Top 6 Other Outdoor Activities in Zanzibar Archipelago, Zanzibar Archipelago

December 2, 2021 Kaleigh Reichenbach

A group of islands and islets some 25 miles off the Tanzanian coast, the Zanzibar Archipelago is headlined by Unguja (often referred to simply as Zanzibar) and Pemba. Once a separate nation, Zanzibar has a long history of trade with the Arab world, dating back to at least the 11th century. The capital, Stone Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has many interesting historic attractions. Zanzibar's bright white beaches and nearby coral reefs make it very popular with the sun and sea set.

This school is just great! Everything! I’m a beginner kiter and was learning with them upwind and transition. They have really good core gear, professional instructors, attention to safety and last but not least flexibility. Also the people working there are just wonderful! Nikki the manager is supper friendly and always manages to adjust your schedule depending on your learning needs and the weather conditions. She is also a little encyclopedia about Tanzania and always happy to give you an advice or just share interesting facts. I also loved my instructor Ania who is patient and encouraging and explains so well! All the others were just so nice and was a pleasure to hang around and chat. Thank you guys so much, you made our days!
