Rock climbing has been on my to-do list for years and I'm happy that my first climb was with Raglan Rock! Gareth was knowledgeable, kind and encouraging. The Sir Don Rowlands Centre is the Waipa District's newest event facility in Cambridge. Situated on the lakes edge with its stunning views of Mt Maungatautari and the lake, it's the ideal setting for any event. The Centre is a versatile, multipurpose complex. With flat floor setting, this venue is easily transformed from classroom to exhibition to dinner settings, and is an ideal HQ for large events. The Centre features rooms of varying sizes, including the Main Hall, Waipa Room, Karāpiro Room and Te Manawa o Matariki Room The outdoor deck provides the perfect viewing spot for any event happening on the water. The Centre's grandstand seats 700 people.
