Take a few hours and enjoy roaming the grounds here at Bethabara park. In addition to the historic buildings there are many trails along the stream and in the woods. Plenty of places for a picnic or an afternoon outdoors. Don't miss the beautiful garden area.

Wowzer, that was a long trail!! Beautiful lake and well kept area. The path is smooth and wide. There were a lot of people on a Sunday afternoon but we never felt crowded. There's plenty of beautiful space????

A friend and I decided to check out this local attraction that has been getting good reviews. So, after lunch at one of my favorite luncheon spots, Tavern in Old Salem, we headed down the road to see this attraction. Well, the reviews I read were right. This park offers a wonderful view of the quarry and a stunning view of the downtown skyline. There are plenty of benches, expansive green space and sidewalks which can accommodate walkers, strollers, bike riders, child play areas and picnic spots. If you want a change of pace I highly recommend that you check out this local gem.

This park is great if you want to mountain bike or race model cars. The mountain bike trails are challenging, not for the beginner or faint of heart. I think they have car racing here most weekends. There is a special track built just for the model cars.
