there are different areas you can access the park. our favorite is from the YMCA lot. some people hike the entire loop around the canal, over a bridge and back on the opposite side. other people come to fish or just relax.

Nashua National Fish Hatchery

Reviewed By jmnerka - Dillingham, United States

We called ahead for a tour, so they were expecting us. No tour guides as such, just workers who show visitors around, so it's very casual. We were shown the tanks indoors and out and given a quick explanation about the fish hatched there. No explanation about fish cycle, species, etc. My 11yo enjoyed the tour, but he already has a solid knowledge about fish and their stages. He kept our guide engaged probably a bit longer than most visitors. (He was disappointed not to see any eggs.) If you don't know much about fish, it's just a quick look at different sized fish swimming in tanks. A tip on finding the place: it's at the stop light directly across from the mall entrance. My GPS took us a bit further so we missed the entrance and had to backtrack.
