We always wanted to go to the mouth of the Snowy river. WE did this by walking the French narrows and then along the beach.

You can join this walk at a number of small car parks along Marlo-Conran Rd, and the path takes you along the Snowy River for up to 5km into Marlo via Mots Beach, all the while enjoying a stunning outlook over the Snowy River Estuary and out to the sea. Well worth planning the time to enjoy

We did this walk after the fires had been through. Very quiet and and eerie . The new growth had started and there were trees fallen into the George. Very sobering experience.
