About an hour's drive from Kaziranga. You will have to park your vehicle about 1 km from the falls. Dont forget to carry slippers, you will have to walk through several streams. Shoes will get wet and walking barefoot will be problematic, so do carry your slippers. The walk will take about 15 to 20 minutes. Comfortable distance, manageable terrain. Carry your costume, towel etc, if you wanna take a dip in the falls. The falls are beautiful, not crowded. Clean and peaceful place. You can spend about an hour or two over there. The water is chilled and refreshing. Some local villagers sell pineapples, Bamboo chicken etc close by, u can try that, it's good. Overall, a nice place to go n enjoy. P.S - Falls are almost like Doodhsagar falls - in Goa

Really really awesome place... they have so many varieties of Orchids.. amazing... I visited in the October.. they said that the best time to visit is around March or April when you get maximum varieties of Orchids..they have Gorkha museum ... Bamboo garden too.. great traditional Assamese thali too... really tasty ... must try..and in the evening .. traditional Assamese dances... awesome... and many other things...really excellent place to visit...

If you want to see rhinos once in your life, your best bet is to go to Kaziranga. It's a long way to travel (2 hour flight from Delhi, 5 hour drive) but absolutely worth it. The park is next to the mighty Brahmaputra river, which can cause a fog in the early morning, and has 3 main entrances. If you stay for 2 days you'll see all 3 parts which aren't interconnected by roads. You'll see dozens of rhinos, especially in the western part. Furthermore we saw elephants, wild water buffaloes (mostly east part), barasingha (aka swamp deer), hornbills, owls, pelicans, eagles, indian rollers and many other birds, turtles, hog deer and many other species. There are tigers in the park, but you have to be lucky to see one because of the high elephant grass. Leopards are even rarer.

We were travelling from Kohima to Golaghat when we spotted this hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. lush green forests with a natural hot water spring and an old hanging bridge, left us captivated. while swimming in the spring was forbidden, we could dip our feet in the soothing hot water and feel refreshed. a must visit. Long hiking trails are available as well as children's play area.

I had taken special permission to trek inside the forest along the fire-lines. It was a very thrilling and rugged experience. I saw varities of snakes, lemurs and birds.
