We stumbled across the Retro cafe whilst walking around Bath at around midday. We looked at the menu and as it wasn't too busy inside at that time we decided to eat earlier than usual to get ahead of the crowds. It was a wonderful experience, a nice warm welcome with cosy surroundings and lovely food was what we found. The breakfast was lovely and considering the location, not too expensive. Recommended !

Sally Lunn's - The oldest house in Bath
Amazing hole-in-the-wall cafe style room. So little and dated, considering it was built in the 1400s! Was an experience both food and history-wise, and for my first time visiting Bath it was very special. My partner also got to witness the window at the front that was built by his Grandfather many years ago! I had the Milk and Jam bun and my partner had the Rarebit Special - both so deep in flavour, delicious, and unlike anything either of us had ever had. The atmosphere was warm and quiet, even though it was packed and a line forming out into the street. Our service was outstanding and I would love to return.

Housed in a spectacular former church house, the Aqua Restaurant and Bar is considered one of Bathâs finest Arts and Crafts buildings. The main dining area, gallery and alfresco courtyard provide a theatrical backdrop for the modern European cuisine. Aqua
Joanna and a lovely gentleman worked tirelessly to make sure we enjoyed our evening! We are never disappointed. The starters, mains and sticky toffee were simply delicious. Our glasses were never left empty, the smiles, professionalism and kindness of staff were limitless. This still remains my favorite restaurant after many years! The standards never drop. Thank you Aqua, we will be back very soon â¥ï¸
