Reviewed By Emilio GAdatto a chi non ha troppe pretese ha tra i punti deboli la lontananza dal centro, ma i taxi costano poco e quindi non è un problema, manca sicuramente di fascino e ricorda (probabilmente lo è) gli alberghi di sovietica memoria. È comunque spazioso, pulito, le camere sono ampie e confortevoli. La colazione è sufficiente considerati gli ottimi standard uzbeki nelle varie sistemazioni provate nel paese. Il vero punto di forza è la cortesia e disponibilità del personale alla reception. Il ragazzo ci è stato di grande aiuto nel trovarci taxi per le ns. escursioni e (cosa fondamentale) tradurre per noi coi tassisti le destinazioni e i prezzi.

Central but awful food
Reviewed By Bob AStayed here as part of a group tour. It’s centrally located for the bazaar and main shops as well as the museum. Lovely check in area however after that it’s grim. No lift to access the upper floors. Long corridors. Room very basic and heated making it like a sauna. Uncomfortable bed. Fridge in room but so noisy I unplugged it. Bathroom ok although I had no hot water. WiFi works in reception area. Food was horrendous. Both the evening meal and breakfast were bland, flavourless dirge. All served with no service standards. I would not return.

A strange mix. ?
Reviewed By fatimazahraI actually quite liked staying here. The rooms are large, the hallways are spacious and everywhere you get a feeling of “enough space”, nothing cramped. It is also very clean, and the staff, even though they are obviously not much used to international travellers, their language skills are quite poor, they are very nice, helpful and keen to make you comfortable. Furniture in the rooms are quite old and worn, the tv is at least 25 years old, and the lightning is very bad,, with only 1-2 lamps high up on the wall, and no bedside light at all, still has a certail charm. There is a small refrigerator in the room, and the possibility to make tea. Wi-fi is sketchy, and often fails, but that seems to be more the country norm, than a hotel malfunction. In any case, the staff is willing and friendly about restarting the router, at any time. Breakfast is pretty good, with a variety of options, and the staff very good at keeping it stocked and tidy. They are also very good at keeping you supplied with fresh tea/coffee. The location is very good, it is mostly residential in the immediate neighborhood, but many shops and restaurants are close by, just a short walk. There is also a very large park in the vicinity, where i saw a very large exhibition of traditional crafts from all over the country, as well as many food stalls and small stages with music and song. The open hospitality and friendly attitude of the local people deserve a mention, it is rare to feel so welcome in a strange place, but i very much enjoyed my visit here.
