Wonderful Wedding Weekend!

We stayed at The Wilbur for our wedding weekend in May. Lyndsay helped us book our room block, and she also helped us with communicating with Blackworth Live Fire Grill to book our wedding rehearsal dinner. The rooms were spacious and clean! We enjoyed the park view from our room. The staff was kind and attentive when we needed anything. All of our guests who stayed in the hotel enjoyed themselves!

Lititz Springs Inn & Spa

Welcome to the Lititz Springs Inn and Spa. The Inn was built in 1764 and originally named The Zum Anker. Over time the Inn became the Lititz Springs Hotel, then in 1930 the name was changed to The General Sutter Inn to honor John Augustus Sutter, who lived his last seven years in Lititz. Little was known of his full history at the time, only that he was instrumental in the Gold Rush in California. Recently, it has come to light that John Sutter’s legacy did not reflect modern values. After being informed of this, the Inn’s new owner, David Stoudt, decided to rename the Inn to honor the heritage and history of Lititz. “Since 1764 we have stood for hospitality, kindness and inclusion. We have worked to foster a welcoming and inviting experience for all. And while we have a lot to learn, this is an important first step to a better and more just future.” – David Stoudt Come check us out and enjoy the shopping and attractions of beautiful Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Charming inn... Very good restaurant too!

Stayed one night with our 2 Boston terrors, Enzo and Mona Lisa. Had a lovely dog friendly room. Clean and nicely appointed - we did not want for anything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a small issue with the entertainment system and they got it resolved lickety split. Wife did not want to leave the dogs and travel for dinner so she booked a reservation at the hotel restaurant. Glad she did. Food and service were excellent. I had the best tomato bisque I have ever tasted. We will be back if we ever need to stay in or near Lititz (accent on the first syllable, just so you know in advance).

Stay AWAY from JAY

Reviewed By Global544689

In years of staying in hotels, I have NEVER had as poor an experience as I did at this hotel last weekend. Jay at the front desk was the most unprofessional and inappropriate individual I have ever met. He put his hands on an 11 year old boy, was harassing guests, including women, one holding a baby, and proceeded to have families removed from the hotel for absolutely no reason. The man was unhinged and appeared to be under the influence of a substance. I felt completely unsafe as his harassment continued to escalate so thankfully police were in attendance because if not, who knows what this man would’ve have done to myself or my children. I was in the hotel for less than 12 hours, at which time all my family did was sleep and come down to eat breakfast. In that time he was blaming children for knocking on doors, which clearly could not have been my children, as they had been within my sight for the short time we were in the hotel. When trying to reach management that day about the emergency situation, absolutely nothing was done about it, much to our disappointment. We feel anyone who stays at this hotel is at risk of this unhinged individual being given carte blanche to have people removed with ABSOLUTELY NO VALID REASONING. Holiday Inn Express/IHG should be ashamed at the treatment given to a large group who had rented a room block of 25 rooms for a local soccer tournament. They sure had no problem taking all of the money for said room block. I would implore anyone to do their research and unless front desk staff changes at a minimum, look elsewhere if you want an enjoyable stay.

Relaxing, Romantic and quiet, right in the center of an awesome town!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at the Alden House! We stayed in the Tea Rose Suite, second floor on the rear of the home, and it was very quiet. We loved sitting on the comfy, shaded balcony chairs, where you could hear the fountain below. We sat on the patio by the fountain for our breakfast alone, rather than inside with the other guests....Brian and Jeff were so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. The full breakfast was awesome....and a stocked fridge of beverages was nice after walking the town and riding bike on the rail trail...fresh baked cookies...chocolates on the pillow....a fridge for guest's farm market buys....coffee and an assortment of teas ready in the dining room at 6 am! The entire inn was very clean and well stocked with whatever you needed. The Queen bed was very comfortable, (but really wish it was a King) Having off road parking was super! (not a lot of room for trucks....bring the car) We loved being able to enjoy the town's festivities from the roomy side porch, listening to the band across the street, chatting with other guests, walking to whatever we wanted then returning to our cozy chairs on the porch for a glass of wine. couldn't ask for a better center of town location. Near to all the stores and restaurants with a beautifully landscaped back yard and patio away from the street when you wanted peace and quiet...best of both worlds. We'll definitely make this a regular for our visits to Lititz!!
