Reviewed By Travelloverdelmundowether for Business or Pleasure this hotel is FIRST CLASS ALL THE WAY. my first impression when i saw it on Hotels.com was right on the money. when i arrived i was happy to see such a nice modern, very clean, Hotel. front desk staff was very polite and the restaurant was excellent. i was treated very nice by the entire staff Especially Deddy. my room was very clean, AC was great, Bathroom was good. every time i turned around there was someone cleaning something, even the outside button for the elevators.. the floors are spotless, elevator immaculate. one of cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in. when i return to Berau this will certainly be the place i will stay.

Reviewed By BanglabarryThey have a good service with the shuttle and the reception is wonderful and quick. The rooms are ok, you can here the other rooms coughing and spitting. The restaurant is fine for indo food. I liked mine and it was a good portion. Breakfast wasn’t so good. The decor let’s you believe they are a coffee shop, but they are not. Coffee was terrible and most food items are cold.nobody lets you know if they will make you hot food or not. My room didn’t have soap, there is a corona virus pandemic and no soap, I asked for soap and I got no soap. People coughing at the toast area, grabbing things with hands they coughed into. I know it’s not the hotels fault for their disgusting guests but it just added to my frustration

Very good value for money
Reviewed By PSBWatoniWe upgraded from Derawan Fisheries Cottage to Fisheries Eco Villa, and for the price, we got VIP room which was big, a clean bathroom, and our own balcony facing the ocean. At night, we fell asleep as the sea rocked the watervilla very gently. The crew at Fisheries were very warm and welcoming. My friend got seasick on the journey to Labuan Cermin, and the crew were very helpful. They even taught me skindiving. The highlights of our journey were snorkeling at Kakaban Pier, Sangalaki beach (very clean and warm water), and the whale shark. We swam with three whale sharks! Labuan Cermin was beautiful but the journey was very far, hence the seasick! Next time we will try looking for the manta ray, of course we will stay again at Fisheries Eco Villa.

Expensive for what it offers
Reviewed By LMilichClean? Yes. Very comfortable beds. But a ho-hum run of the mill hotel without any amenities. Stayed there 2x in the course of 10 days. First stay: exhaust fan in bathroom did not work, had to call for tv remote to turn off the tv (which comes on when the key card's inserted into the power switch). Second time - first room had no clasp on the window, so could not close it. Given another room immediately. My big gripe is that for >500K per night, the breakfast is crap (really, don't they understand by now that bules don't want their fried egg drowning in oil?), the soap/shampoo the cheapest they can find, and to cap it, the front desk claimed that they'd run out of tea and sugar (the awful 3-in-1 coffee seemed to be plentiful, but that's another argument - Indonesians seem to relish that garbage). I told him (front desk guy) that the Alfamart across the street's open 24/7 and that he should take some money from the till and go buy some. Which to give him credit, he did. So on the plus side: comfortable beds, good wifi, clean.

Wi-Fi tidak berfungsi!
Reviewed By tonisitaniaI just checked in, couple hours ago. When I asked for wi-fi password, they gave me unique number as usual but couldn't connect with any wi-fi network when I arrived at my room. I don't know why. Well, I know my room is a end-year price so i get the half of the price, but come on, i need that wi-fi than any facilities. Okay, the staffs are okay, diligent, and kind. They helped me and bow down when I want to go out or get in to the hotel. The room is clean, pillows is crunchy, and the toilet is quite neat.
