Clean, friendly, convenient, a great stay
Reviewed By gregsB7150FDI know what you’re thinking when you consider the Hampton Inn. First off, their fixtures are from the 90s. The minute you walk in, it’s like you are transported back in time to MC Hammer, C&C Music Factory, you can hear the Gloria Estefan and MTV pump up the jams already. The carpets are dark tan, the tile is brown, why does everything made in the 90s have to be brown? Was there some sort of exotic brown tile fetish in the 90s we have forgotten about? Anyway, although some of the fixtures are not 2022 fixtures (meaning they are not lime green and look like the meeting room on “2001 A Space Odyssey” and are sterile with no personality, you have to admit that there will come a day when we look back on hotels like Tru and Avid & say, what were we thinking? It looks like a hospital room.) I digress. Anyway I loved staying in this Hampton Inn and it was extremely pleasant, the people who work there are top notch. They are the nicest people we encountered on our trip. They made every accommodation and the breakfast was outstanding. From the minute you walk in, everyone is like, hey how’s it going, they really do take good care of this place. We look forward to staying again and its close proximity to the beach was very helpful! Despite the fact that some of the fixtures may look like the 90s, it felt like home and the people treated us great. Definitely stay there. It is clean, friendly, and convenient and you can’t ask for more.

Reviewed By Mark WI stayed one night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Atmore and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I stayed in a room with a king sized bed on the 4th floor. The room was immaculate and looked brand new (see photos). The bed was very comfortable and I liked that the bathroom it had a real shower instead of a shower-tub. The towels in the bathroom were thick and fluffy. There was a great view of a small lake from the window. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel - words cannot describe it adequately. This is definitely the place to stay in Atmore.

Reviewed By NatSteveCIn our 8 nights on the road, I have to say that this was the best hotel we stayed in. Firstly, Norma Jean at reception made us feel very welcome and was lovely to talk to. Secondly, the room was huge and very clean. Just wow! The beds were comfortable and overall the hotel was very quiet. Absolutely no complaints at all. The breakfast was good, the muffins were amazing. The hotel is in a good convenient location and there are lots of nice restaurants in Atmore. Contactless checkout was quick and convenient - all hotels should do this. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Reviewed By TxsmallfryNice RV park. Clean, concrete site pads. Most sites appear to be fairly level. We were in site 18 and it was NOT level, side to side or front to back. The utility pedestal is located in the middle of the site. There is a concrete "patio" area at each site, but no picnic table. The sites are not jammed together. There is a nice size grassy area between each site. There is a bath house with a free ice machine. Also had a nice playground for the kids. The casino is small (estimate about 800 slot machines only) and clean and well maintained. No table games. We visited on a Friday about 4:00 - 6:00pm. Hardly any machines were paying. Only a small crowd of people were there. Buffet was overpriced ($22.50 pp). There were only 3 small serving islands with a small choice of food. The food served was good, just not many choices. Small salad bar and dessert bar.
