A unique Hotel in the marvelous city of Bonito! With facilities, level and service of a Hotel in a big city, but in a destination of extreme nature. Strategically located in front of the main Avenue, it has a parking lot, laundry room and a tourism agency. 33 comfortable, wide and perfectly equipped private and shared rooms with private bathroom included, A/C and more!
Alright stay
Reviewed By sngmdA good budget option in Bonito. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The shower worked well. Free parking and walking distance to the center. Pool area was ok, with very limited seating (only two lie down chairs and a handful of tables and chairs). More seating was added when the bar opened. There was plenty for breakfast, and although the quality was reflected in the price of the hotel, there was enough for a good start to the day every day. Would consider this place again on a future visit to Bonito. The reason for the 4 stars was that the sheets on the bed were dirty (stained) when we got the room, however, they were replaced and everything after that was alright. Also, the hostel as implemented a "no external sodas (refrigerantes) or beers" policy, which seems like a grasp to make some more money from their guests. Feels unneccessary and is annoying. It didn't really affect us, but just leaves a bad feeling.

Economic rates, attendance with guides speaking english and spanish, couple/ familie rooms with private bath, shared rooms with private bath, swimming pool, sumbathing area, free Wi-Fi zone, game-room with Sky HD TV, restaurant/ bar, breakfast buffet self-service, pool table, open "small" kitchen (fast food), laundry and delivery cheap laundry, tourism office that organized all Bonito and Pantanal tours, cheapest and shared transportation to the tours, bikes and aquatic cameras for rent, fresh and green area to relax with hammocks, camping area, safe parking area for cars, trucks, buses and motor-home, night security guard.
Easily the best hostel I stayed at in Brazil
Reviewed By Dave nI stayed here for 6 nights and was very happy with it...the only slight downside is its location towards one end of town so a bit of a walk to the main area of restaurants etc..but then Bonito isn't very large so it doesn't take long to walk...you can also get basic meals from the lovely lady at the cafeteria, for lunch and dinner, so the location wouldn't stop me staying there again. Stayed in a private room, large double bed plus 2 bunk beds, walk-in closet for storage, large bathroom with good hot shower. One blanket is supplied, which was just enough for the cold nights. Free breakfast was good for a hostel. Swimming pool that is well maintained, pool table, TV room...outdoor and covered areas to sit etc. Wi-fi. A laundry area where you can hand-wash your clothes for free. Staff at reception were all great and english is spoken. Arranged all my attraction tours through the hostel and transport to Campo Grande.

Reviewed By Gabriel RCheap, simple and good organization. Good breakfast, the rooms are well cleaned and it takes around 15 min to reach the downtow, Some restaurantes are close (~5 min walking). Space for barbecue is also available.

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff - fantastic hostel
Reviewed By Alexandra WI stayed for two nights in December 2017 in a mixed dorm - Jackie and Lucas who run Papaya went above and beyond to help us - arranging tours and helping us arrange buses for the next part of the trip. Jackie gave us valuable honest advice over whats worth seeing and where we could save money, as well as fantastic food recommendations. She even got up at 5.45am to give us breakfast before a tour! Hostel papaya was clean, well decorated and has a great atmosphere - the breakfast was one of the best I had while travelling around Brazil with fresh fruit and freshly baked goods - great coffee too! I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone travelling through Bonito! great location and memorable staff.
