I have been to Hameln many times now and each time I just fall in love with the area all over again, take a gentle stroll through the streets and admire the architecture of the surrounding buildings and read about the history of the Town and the Pied Piper, then sit back and relax in one of the many bars and watch the world go buy. A real gem of a place.

As part of a bus tour of Germany, two adults took this tour in English from "The Pied Piper of Hamelin". Was really excellent entertainment. Lasted over 60 minutes. Extremely interesting storyteller, flute player and comedian. Since this was part of our bus tour, I don't know how these tours are arranged, but highly recommend it. If you can attend, you won't be sorry.

I absolutely adore it... one of the most interesting clocks in Europe... at 13.05 comes out a stage that represents the pied piper of HAMELIN... First comes the pied piper with the rats, than with the children and the 2 who are left behind... just represents the hole tale. Completely free of charge and you just need to be at the square to see it. Just follow the rats on the floor and you won't miss it.
