Lovely beach / cove. Great beach restaurant & handy funicular if you don’t fancy the steps! Rock pools would be fun later in the season but too much sea swell when we visited to make them safe.

We were strolling along the seaside from Guía de Isora when we found this beautiful group of small lava sand beaches alongside a hotel complex and fields. There were various facilities, pathways for walkers and cyclists and a lifeguards' office. The area seemed to be fun for children as well with playgrounds and not deep sea pools.

Mirador de Samara

I think one of the most beautiful walks I did so far on a Tenerife. Very beautiful views to the different islands and big and small volcanoes. It is worth it to climb the Samara volcano and it is also really worth it to climb to the top of the Botija volcano. The Samara walk (S13) is easy, around 5 km (loop), but you have to gain around 300m of altitude. You can also extend the walk and make it around 9 km, in that case you almost walk to the 'Narices del teide' mirador (I think follow S38 and S9) and a few km's before arriving there you take the S32 back to the Samara viewpoint. Enjoy!

Travelled up from Costa adeje and well worth the visit. Really relaxing and all facilities just need good pair or flip flops or shoes to go in sea as pebbles need to be crossed. Lovely little town.
