Woodpecker

Reviewed By tynesider2011 - Cramlington, United Kingdom

We visited this bar on recommendation of some other guests at the hotel we were staying at. The bar itself was very retro playing older music witch a chilled vibe. The owners have been running it since it opened in 1974 and are doing a great job, it’s one of these bars where modernising it would ruin it. The drinks were great quality ( we had Pina colladas and Mythos ) . If you are in Dassia near the IKOS complex it’s well worth sealing out and you won’t be disappointed

Dassia Beach

Reviewed By kslancs - Lancashire, United Kingdom

The beach was like a game of football - it came in two halves. One half of the beach was golden sands, deep set into the land and beautifully clean. The second half was narrow, pebbley and uncomfortable. However, neither of these detracted from the glorious panoramic view and crystal clear water. It only took a few strides before you were into sandy textures caressing the bottom of your feet. One of the best features of the beach is that all of the bars were literally beach fronted - meaning there is no road in between them and the shore, and you could literally use a cocktail stick to touch the beach (you don't even need a barge pole).
