The view was nice, the meals overall were delicious. Snack, dessert, main course, all quite good. Instagrammable place, ppl said.There's extra fee if you wanna eat at VIP room (still public access) for IDR 15K/person for two hours, or VVIP room (private access) for IDR 100K/room. Good food come with expensive price here, imho. Will visit again only for guidance purpose or gathering occasion with friends.

De kock cafe opened 1.5 years ago and now there are additional existing core businesses lodgings 4 rooms. We always open 24 hours and the cafe is open from 6 am until 1 pm . because then I add the name of my restaurant so De kock cafe bed and breakfast .

De Kock Cafe has been in the scene in Bukittinggi for ages. The food here is really good, staff are very efficient and the service is superb. There is really nothing I can complain about this place. You can sit down here and chill all day long, just by meeting new friends and chit-chatting around with the locals here. Love it and will be back for sure.

As others have noted, this place is a bit out of town and well worth the drive! The views in every direction are exceptional. GREAT place for breakfast even though I was not enthralled with the special Taruko coffee. The banana pancake was delicious and other dishes ordered by our Indonesian (Balinese) friend were also really good. Most of all, though, the setting cannot be beat!
