Great location and views

Stayed here with my wife and brother and sister in-law over the Australia day weekend. The apartment complex is part of the Seashells complex so it shares all of its amenities including the infinity pool. Apartment complex has secure if somewhat confusing parking with the numbers all over the place but there was space for both cars, one undercover and one not so get there first ? Building security is very good and our room 3302 was very nice. Views overlooking the ocean were fantastic with a nice outdoor setting and a bbq. Room itself was very well appointed but it was a little odd that the 2nd bedroom had no A/C. Kitchen had everything we needed as did the bathrooms although the bath/spa would have been better as a straight up shower, too small as a spa with the bath tap sticking right out into middle of the shower. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants in close walking distance and a bottle shop on the ground floor. Great spot to stay for a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Now for the bad. Security gate to access the beach and ships on the ground floor was out of order meaning you had to walk around the whole complex to get out, nit a biggie just a bit annoying. The smell...a cross between cats piss and the devils breath seems to have permeated the whole complex in the hallways, thankfully not in the room tho, just the hallways. Restrictions to actually have any fun, no visitors, no "parties", no drinks by the pool and security guards who look like extras from a cheap bikie movie doing their best to be intimidating, especially at the Seashells pool. It seems they had some "troubles" a few years ago and this is how they manage it, over kill to say the least ? Would I stay again? Yes, other than a few gripes its a great spot and the accommodation was very clean and well appointed.

Always good I have been there before and is always dependable 2 minutes walk to a nice beach or if not they have an indoor heated pool onsite there. Shops across the road supermarket and take away places Pub next door which is also a betting agency and they serve good food and they also have skimpies in the main bar to serve you. Town and main shops is only 5 minutes drive Or you can get on a bus and train to go to the city of Perth quite easily Plenty of activities and things to do and see around that area

Stayed here for a few days Friday to Monday. Very happy with our accommodation - simple with basic furniture. 2 adults & 2 young children. Upstairs were two bedrooms & bathroom. If you find it difficult to climb stairs this isn't for you as the stairs go straight up. Sliding door out to a small balcony over looking the pool. Was spacious & clean. Downstairs was self contained kitchen that lack nothing but being away from home we did live on take aways but all equipment available if you fancy cooking a meal. (Within walking distance is a great eating establishment that you should try and squeeze into you visit). Downstairs toilet with washing machine & dryer. A large table with a comfortable lounge to sit on. Outside grounds were very tidy. Great to stay in summer but would be totally different atmosphere as our stay the weather was May weather. Couldn't fault place if I need to stay in Mandurah again will stay here.
