Metuchen (/məˈtʌtʃən/ mə-TUTCH-ən) is a suburban borough in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States, which is 5 miles (8.0 km) northeast of New Brunswick, 13 miles (21 km) southwest of Newark, 17 miles (27 km) southwest of Jersey City, and 21 miles (34 km) southwest of Manhattan, all part of the New York metropolitan area. Metuchen is completely surrounded by Edison. As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 13,574, reflecting an increase of 734 (+5.7%) from the 12,840 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 36 (+0.3%) from the 12,804 counted in the 1990 Census.

I give them two stars because they are nice.The food we ordered this evening was pretty bad.Something was off about everything we ordered all but the pre made stuff IE spring rolls. The chicken in every dish was boing boing. Just terrible. We tried to fill ourselves on fried noodles and rice.My daughter said, "hey, the rice is good" haha!

First time person may be disappointed. Small, needs heaters in Winter, and people may be hard to understand you. But it is the only game in town. Getting to know the people helps. Food is OK, but not fancy. I like simple Chinese food on Saturday and go most times. It is not on the menu, but my wife likes Shrimp with onions and peppers and they make it for her.

When in the mood for Chinese/Malaysian and in the area, this is my must stop. I have had this place many times, and usually get two or three of my regular dishes...beef lomain, General Tso's, etc... they do it all well. Been around for years. Can get busy on the weekend for pick up, but that just means they are doing good.

First time visit. Made a reservation for 6. Round table seating. Nice, helpful and friendly staff. BYOB. Tasty food and reasonably priced. Large menu selection. Forgot to use the coupon from local penny saver. There have been several restaurants in this location over the past few years since Mei Lings (many years ago). This one will probably be there for a while, since Metuchen's new revitalization of the town. Good parking.

We eat here frequently ourselves and with friends and always like the food and attractive atmosphere. Servers are efficient and friendly and prices are reasonable. Choose from Seaweed Salad, Wasabi Tuna Salad, etc., Teriyaki Dinners; Sushi & Sashimi A La Carte; and a lot of other dishes.

Since Amazon took over Whole Foods the prices have become more reasonable.My Wife is sensitive to some artificial ingredients, I can find organic and all natural foods here, I love their baking section I can get cake mixes and frostings that have no artificial ingredients.If your an Amazon Prime member you get cash back points and extra discounts.
