This place is great for spending spare time with people, in the open air, with water activities, good food, coffee and snacks widely available nearby. Safe for children, the sea is nearby, a beautiful view of it from the boardwalk on a cliff above the sea. A great place to take the family for time out.

Victory Monument

Victory Monument is located on a beautiful cliff above Mediterranean. All around the year fresh sea wind strokes your face The memorial consists of two elements which symbolize the transition from darkness to light reflecting the Russian military victory to stop the Holocaust of the Jewish people, followed by the establishment of the Jewish state in Israel. The memorial is designed as a maze, in which key tragic events in the history of the Jewish people during the Holocaust are depicted in reliefs. A representation of the Second World War is contained in black bunker. On the right describes the Holocaust, and on the left describes the war between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. At the end of the maze - the emergence into the light and open air, where white wings soar to the heavens as a symbol of victory, hope and peace, against the backdrop of Netanya's coastline.

Alexander Stream Hof Bet Yanai National Park

The Alexander River is one of the most important and beautiful rivers in the Sharon region. Before it spills into the sea, near the Beit Yanai beach, the river is encompassed by a vast park with an abundance of nature and landscape views, eucalyptus groves, picnic areas, and remnants of past human activity. The declared Beit Yanai beach offers lifeguard services, open spaces, shaded areas for bathers, a bathroom and shower area, as well as a camping site and restaurants. For details on accommodation options, caravan parking, entrance to the beach/campgrounds and lifeguard hours, please visit our website.

Hamei Ga'ash

This was our first visit to Hamei Ga'ash - or any similar location. There was plenty of parking - but not a paved parking lot. The staff dealt quickly and professionally with a long line of guests (it's August after all!) Towels, robes, slippers and lockers are available at an additional cost. Note: bring your own towels and flip-flops - not to save money - but for quality and convenience. People bring EVERYTHING - food, drink - hampers of everything. The place is open on shabbas so all we bought was packaged ice cream. You can wear tzanuah bathing suits and tichels - both Jewish and Muslim women dress as they wish and are comfortable as are those who don't dress this way. The place is spacious - even when full. Locker and showeroom area is clean and simple. Different indoor and outdoor pools, wet and dry saunas, mineral pools and plenty of lawn area just to lay around and relax are available. There is also a spa with massage area (extra cost). Plastic seating and low tables available everywhere. This is not an exclusive spa - it's open to all, clean and well maintained. Found in the middle of the country and easy to get to. Probably better to visit after the chagim - but worth a visit for a few hours of water relaxation!
