Driving through Alto Adige, you come across this wonderful brewery and beergarden. The inside of the bar/restaurant is typically German, with waitstaff dressed in horsetrading and dirndls. The beer is good and the Bavarian-style German food, excellent. The surrounding mountains and nature are awsome, so be prepared for a great stop.

Seemingly hundreds of people sinking vast amounts of Forst beer from across the road to accompany the good plain Tirolean food. It's dusty, it's noisy and no place to wear your best clothes but great fun especially when there is live music

Restaurant close to the brewery has a big and well attended terrace. They have a good beer, varied and affordable wine card and rather extensive menu. Food is very Austrian, with a lot of meat. It's okay but not very special and not very cheap. Staff is efficient but they missed the personal touch. Food was there, shortly after we ordered it. At the end of the dinner the waiter offered a drink from the house. Good parking facilities.

It seems this is The Place to be on Friday night when in Naturno. It was full and the place is quite big and live music was on with dancefloor full. The music was traditional Tyrolian tunes. Food was really good - from pizza, through traditional meat to fantastic desserts and local wines and beers. It was served very fast and staff spoke English. Cannot expect any better in this village.

Make sure and call ahead as this restaurant is always busy because the view of the valley is breathtaking and the food preparation and service are unmatched. Any of the beef dishes are delicious. Meal prices are moderate and the quality of the food makes this a real value.
