I love eating here for lunch. They are never overly crowded and the service is quick and friendly. My current favorite is their big BBQ chicken sandwich. I also love their pulled pork. They also have lots of sauce options: sweet, spicy, and original. I personally love the original. They have the best BBQ sauce around. There are a couple of other BBQ places in the area that are good, but their sauce is gross. Dickey's has great BBQ and sauce. Their BBQ beans are also quite tasty. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

The Brisket was average. The sausage was really like a cheap frankfurter with the same texture. The sausage definitely was not of German or Czech or south Texas origin. I was a little disappointed. This was for takeout and I had no sides. Does not compare with Vernons or Hinzes.

The brisket was over cooked and pulled pork was dry. The fact that store bought sauce was at the condiment station speaks to how bad this place was.

wow the barbq ribs were awesome....I would put them right up there with coopers in llano and muellers in taylor texas, my top two choices in Texas...none in Houston compare to vernons...home made pinto beans...friend had the meal of the day half roasted chicken and sides so many good choices hamburgers steaks and all the bar bq menu ....very busy at noon and you could tell 95 percent of the people were locals that enjoyed the good food...wish it was closer I would be there often

Had the same meal as take out three times in the last few months. Always delicious. I order the 2-meat meal with Ribs and Brisket. Tender and smoky meats... Mmmmm. Thhe BBQ Chicken is great too. I like the bbq sauce; not too spicy or vinegary. The beans are good and not too salty. The potato salad has a nice texture with small chunks. I would prefer a tad less mustard, but still tasty. It comes with all the fixins (Pickle/onion/bread). The staff is very friendly and helpful. I like the buckets of fresh peanuts on the tables. Looks like a rustic little Texas roadhouse. Tons of choices on the menu. It is always busy, but never a long wait. My go-to for Barbecue.

Very good BBQ. Great portions and a lot of options. Some of the staff were a little rude (younger ones), but aside from them everyone else was great! Prices are little high, but I guess for the portions it makes sense, but not you have a bigger family. Free refills on drinks, choices on bbq sauce (which are the side in dispensers for you to choose from). Thank you for the review. Customer service is extremely important to us and know that it will be addressed. Thank you for your business.
