This is a no-frills, tiny little place outside of downtown Greenville but the food more than makes up for its small size. The pulled pork is delicious and their sides are some of the best Iâve had. Highly recommend their hush puppies and mac and cheese. Everything tastes homemade and theyâve got a nice selection of different sauces, as well. After hearing that we like spicy, they even brought out a special sauce from the kitchen that they donât put on the tables because of the spice level. The south is famous for barbecue and this is one of the best places around!

I had heard about this small restaurant/take-out place along Highway 25, and one day stopped in for some take-out lunch. I ordered the barbecued chicken which was incredibly tasty and two sides. The service was warm and friendly. Although the physical decor is not much, the quality of the food and the Southern hospitality make up for it.

Stopped in to try this spot last weekend and were very disappointed. I can truly say we tried everything...got the sampler platter and the pork belly...also 5 different sides. Nothing was worth a repeat. The brisket, ribs, and wings were dry. The pulled pork was ok but not something Iâd want again. The house made sausage not good either. The pork belly probably the worst Iâve ever had. As for the sides...the Mac and cheese highly salty, cauliflower casserole tasted days old, the collard greens were well seasoned but drowned in vinegar, the fried okra was ok, the smoked potato salad undercooked and didnât taste smoked at all. The one positive thing was we had good service. I donât typically write harsh reviews but Iâm not sure how this place stays open...donât waste your money.

We were driving across to GA and stopped here after smelling the fantastic BBQ being cooked! The food was fantastic! I can't wait to cross the mountains and end up here again - the service was great and the food was some of the best BBQ I've ever eaten!

I consider myself a BBQ snob(growing up in South Carolina). This place is second to none. Amazing pork, chicken, brisket and sides. If you want to have something super special, get the BBQ corned beef. As we say down south, it will make you want to slap your grandma! The service is wonderful. Janice is as pleasant as they come. If you haven't eaten here, you are really missing out!

Plan to make this a regular stop on Hwy 11! Fresh made BBQ, the Cleveland Dog and so much more. I was delightfully surprised by the cafe menu choices. Definitely a family pleasing menu including home baked goods, ice cream and the best hot boiled peanuts! Don't miss the photo booth with all the accessories to add to your family memories. The owners are locals that grace their special place with true southern hospitality. Thanks Marci Jo & Lamar. We'll see you again soon!
