Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Bainbridge Island. Although it's just 35 minutes by ferry from Seattle, Bainbridge Island is a totally different world. Travelers who enjoy the outdoors can hike, bike or walk in the Bloedel Reserve or Fort Ward State Park. The island feels rural, and local agriculture is a source of pride for residents (check out what's in season at the farmers' market). Bainbridge Island is also known for its strong visual and performing arts culture, and there's good shopping in Winslow.

On the last day in what was a miserable February, my wife and I went to Timber on Bainbridge Island for the first time.I have spent God knows how many thousands of dollars at The Metropolitan Grill in Seattle, whose advertising positioning is "The best steak in town." It's a good thing they aren't on Bainbridge because they'd be the second best steak in town. Timber is just plain awesome. I had one of the best rib eyes I've ever had. And the Manhattans we had were right up there too. We will be back. A lot. This place deserves support. Now don't screw it up Tanner.

We are Sunday brunch here after arriving around noon on the ferry. We decided to go away from downtown (5 min drive) to avoid the noon crowd. There were not many patrons when we arrived but soon became almost full. The service was good. We enjoyed the Braveheart Bloody Mary (bacon, celery and carrots included), the brisket special, French toast, and pork belly.

Went there for an anniversary celebration. The staff were great. Over priced for the food. My special of the night (which should have been the best) was overcooked. The duck was dry, the beans were wrong and the sausage tasted like cereal. My husbands, the 4 small pieces of fish were overcooked. And the sauce was a over thick, not like a bouillabaisse which has l light sauce. And the sticky toffee pudding tasted like gingerbread. Our pleasant server was kind and brought us a small glass of champagne to celebrate. The staff is the only reason I am not giving this a 0.

We toured Bainbridge and got to the commercial area / square where Treehouse Cafe was located. We were seated at a table for six and ordered.. The pizzas and sandwiches along with a great cobb said were served promptly. Food and service were real nice. Towards the end of the lunch, electricity went out in the region and we were able to clear our tab with casino hand [no card would work] and we departed by lattern light. We had a good time, but curtailed when the power went out - fortunately we had completed eating.

Dined here for lunch and it's one of the best meals we had while in Seattle. Food was so fresh and service was great. It's a big restaurant that holds a lot of people but, it's a perfect atmosphere for families and casual dining. Very reasonably priced. Great food and service!

Been going here for years. Great selection of beer; and food, IMO, gets an 8.5. Staff usually efficient, some even downright personable, so I will continue to patronize. Very comfortable vibe year-round.Had some calamari the other day which was a bit over cooked and slightly dry. But maybe I'm too picky on this dish.Prices have ballooned on some dishes, but overall, still a good experience.
