After a very interesting music performance, the tombak player gave us a tour of the museum with much love and enthousiasm for the instruments and traditional music. If you like music even just a little, please do visit this museum when you are in Isfahan, and you will enjoy and discover your own passion for music!

I've visited this place with one of my friends at the evening and I have to say that the view from balcony was amazing and wonderful for taking pictures! Specially during the sunset! We had a saffron tea with cake and it was also tasty! If you go to Isfahan don't miss out this place!

Museum of Decorative Arts

The museum of decorative arts in Isfahan was founded in 1995. More than 3000 artworks from the Safavid and Qajar era are kept in the museum. The building of the museum belongs to the era of Abbas I. In the era of Abbas I and his seccessors, the building was used as the stable of Chehelsotoon palace and horse supplies were kept in its warehouse. There is a multi-storey tower beside the museum
