We hired two boats from Sicily Boats last Friday 12th July for a party of 9 (5 in one, 4 in the other). The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided detailed information taking us do all the major sites including the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, Pantheon and others. The trip was well planned for us and all in all a delightful experience. Of note for cruise passengers that sign up for a Rome tour, abort a 70 mile drive,the driver is not allowed to leave the vehicle to offer any guide services and a separate guide must be separately arranged or you are dropped off on your own at the various sites. Our tour provided for complete coverage seamlessly. Other tours may offer complete service but I found none that met our needs

We rented a boat for the day and it was great! Very good communication with the guys from sicily boats and the boat itself was perfect. If your looking for a bit of freedom on your holiday in Sicily make sure to rent a boat from them!
