Pomos Harbour

A wonderful small authentic fishing harbour. Lovely small beach with facilities & easy parking. Restaurant close by a number of steps up to reach it but nice views of coastline. Really enjoyed the pit stop & would recommend a visit.

Paradise Beach

one well off the main tourist track here.
small pebbles shingle type beach here just off the main road from polis to pomos, car parking in a dusty type clear out area on the headland.
walking down to the beach is via a steep often quite a negotiating experience good sturdy sandal type footwear required.
very quite area away from the crowds our visit April we had the area to ourselves.
no beds or amenities around at hand,
views are very good from the headland but where they get paradise from ive yet to find out !,
we had about a hour here and moved on more of a rest up read and explore.
as for dipping the big toe into the big blue sea ,,,, brr too cold that day.
of note better beach area a kilometre or so up the road towards pomos Tpoulorotsos beach just slightly more to look at do here , i will put a new location review out shortly for this location.

Troodos Mountains

Lovely and warm in Paphos and Nicosia. Gentle drive through the mountain villages visiting Caledonia Waterfalls (lovely but further than 1km and all uphill) and millomeris Waterfalls (small windy road then short walk few steps). It snowed on us quite heavily for c15 mins in Troodos. Nice village some patchy snow on the ground but roads totally clear.

Tpoulorotsos Beach

take the road out of Pomos head towareds Polis about 2k on your left you will notice some nice painted decorated classic mounted religious arifcas on the roadside, opposite this is a small parking area where you can leave the car.
then head along a dirt track that gently goes down to the beach area of tpoulorotsos.
mixture of sand and small pebbles large -ish type area here sheltered in the curved arc..
again we was the only ones here for a hour or so ... of note cars seem to stop for the photographic point of view of the coastline.
your well away here from the crowds id say call off if your wandering around Polis -Pomos area.
No facilities here plus no bar beds etc etc, its a make do yourself here (picnics are us type of beach.
into the sea is pebbles shelves fairly quickly in.
as stated its the views from the headland that count here.
