My husband and I visited during the time of Covid. The indoor exhibits were closed, but there was a small display outside behind the visitors center detailing the history of the farm and inviting visitors to do a self tour. Conveniently, the bathrooms were also open for visitors. We walked the farm and enjoyed seeing the orchard, animals, garden, and tobacco drying shed. Seeing the new lambs in the barn was a nice surprise. I would live to go again when we are able to go inside the farm house.

Great place to hike, well maintained trails, lots of people and dogs.Grindstone trail was very steep. 6 miles round trip.

Corbin was a great guide. He was clear and patient as well as informative. We had all been on horses but not for some time. He and his sister, Corrine, made sure that we were comfortable and safe. The trail he took is on was appropriate in that it was easy enough for us to do but challenging enough to be fun. This is a definite must do kind of activity when you are in the area.
