Triton Diving Llafranc

Reviewed By AlisonBea33 - Kent, UK

Went on a snorkelling trip with Triton with our two children (11&8) and really enjoyed the afternoon. After collecting flippers, masks and snorkels, it was a short walk down to the harbour. We then took a boat down the coast to some small rocky Islands. The water was very clear and not too cold and we saw lots of different fish and a couple of jellyfish. All had a lovely time. We met at 3pm and got back about 5pm with approx 1 hr snorkelling.

Serveis Nautics Llafranc

Reviewed By cedarfever - Kerrville

We took a 2 hour boat tour of the coves and caves along the Costa Brava from Llafranc to north of Tamariu with Serveis Nautics. Half the trip is in a boat that holds 24-30. The other half is in a zodiac so you can get into the tiny caves (keep your hands in the boat) and between the gorgeous rock outcroppings. This is a very special way to enjoy the coast, and I recommend it for everyone. After getting back into the bigger boat, there is time for swimming in a secluded area. Judging by the yells of the 6 gals who went in on our trip, the water was still pretty cold! This trip was one of the best things we did in our week spent in Llafranc. It was also a reasonable deal, 16 euros. We priced a trip in Tamariu just up the coast at 25 euros for only an hour and a half.
Also, and here is the real reason you need to know about this company, we left a bag of purchases on the boat when we disembarked. We came back about 4 hours later asking if it had been found. One of the men working for the company leaped up and took the zodiac out to the boat where it had been moored in the harbor and was back in 5 minutes waving the bag over his head. He returned it with a smile.

Barracuda Diving School

Reviewed By Traxian

Was over there in July with my girlfriend and kids...I was the only one that took the diving lesson...and it was awesome....I have never experienced anything like it before. Francesco and his team were cool to be around and the instructions clear and simple to follow. We saw a Baracuda and an octopus and lots of different types of fish. I hope next year to do the whole course and can't wait.

Tourist Service

Reviewed By dughall - Holmfirth, United Kingdom

The tourist office is staffed by helpful and informative people who appear to genuinely care about you having a positive experience. Not only did they give some excellent advice on local sightseeing and villages to visit but they also arranged the boat rental.
The half day on the boat was superb. What's more, when due to return, we realised our anchor was completely stuck on the bottom and despite trying everything, we couldn't raise it. We telephoned for assistance, were instantly reassured and within 30 minutes, help had arrived, someone had dived to the bottom of the ocean, the anchor was freed and we were away.
I can really recommend you go and speak to them at least even if you don't book anything with them, their friendliness and local knowledge is outstanding.
