With frequent events and special displays this is an excellent museum showing the development of the town and the wider region. More unknown is the excellent art collection which is small but high quality. Perhaps the only disappointment is the size of the display about the shipbuilding industry which was a main industry in the region for many years. The cafe serves reasonable food and there is an interesting shop selling local items

Mysig badplats med lekplats i anslutning. Sandstrand och hoppbrygga och krabbfiske. Gräsmatta för picnic och lek. Parkera vid Lyckorna Brygga och promenera strandpromenaden till Kungsparken. Är parkeringen full kan man parkera vid Ljungs kyrka.
Kiosk finns vid bryggan/parkering. Toalett finns på badplats.
OBS! Skräp tar man hand om själv. Ingen soptunna finns på plats.

This is a great place to bring your kids for a day out. Free pony riding, petting zoo with rabbits, hens, goats and more. Good picknick area with space to grill, swings, sandboxes ans slides. There are also several paths in the forest, including one that is wheel-char accessible.
