Mossy Fern is a great place to find that special plant you didn’t even know you needed. Knowledgeable staff, unusual collection of tropical houseplants, pots, plant food, soil and, in season, a boutique nursery of outdoor plants for containers or landscape. Curated gardening services for when your mow & blow crew doesn’t know what to do with your veggie bed or perennials. Online ordering easy & efficient for those still staying home. Delivery within the rivertowns. Sister shop in Bronxville but Hastings is the main event. Oh yeah, and cut flower bouquets.

Several trails to choose from for all mountain biking levels and hiking. Convenient and there are also bathrooms and ample free parking. Pool is currently closed, hopefully only til next summer.

This foundation has public events every so often, and if you hear of one, GO!! It's free, the builing and grounds are AMAZING, and the exhibits are usually of quite fine art.
