Well everyone says when you get there it still looks identical to Constables painting the’ Haywain’ and it does! Amazing, a really beautiful place to visit, National Trust property also a lovely tea room with seating outside to enjoy the views and wildlife as you sit next to the river, lovely! There are also ‘River Trips’ and many lovely walks in the area.

The Place for Plants

Wonderful, 20 acre, garden with a charming, very natural, magical feel and brimming with plants seldom seen in East Anglia and masses of wildlife. Renowned for the large collections of Camellias, Rhododendrons, Magnolias, flowering dogwoods, rambling roses, Hydrangeas and wide ranging autumn colour. Attached to the garden in a lovely 2 acre Victorian walled garden is an amazing nursery full of all manner of plants, a very extensive range, beautifully displayed and of the highest quality. Very knowledgeable staff are on hand to advise and help with queries.
