Very cool operation - amazing location - excellent guides - totally dialed in - no shortage of food at meal times - ridiculous terrain. First time in a helicopter for me and thus first time heli-skiing - therefore I cannot compare but I cannot imagine that you will find terrain as challenging and exhilarating anywhere else. That being said, it shouldn't frighten you off - they manage their groups with care and with a total focus on safety. Highly recommended.

Childs Glacier Adventures & Shuttle

We offer shuttles to and from and adventures at the Childs Glacier area. The shuttle starts and ends at the 36.5 mile Copper River Highway washout. We utilize a large enclosed jet boat for the river crossing which is great due to the Cordova area being a rain forest and passenger vans. Adventures include Miles Glacier, Bear Viewing, glacier and trail hikes and upriver fish wheel tours.

Suitable for all ages, our group included Elders and Youth. It was a full day of excitement on the water with our guild Luke who was knowledgeable of the area. We view fish wheels, glaciers and icebergs up close. We saw seals resting on a sandbar, a brown bear and a couple of moose wondering down the road as we headed back from our trip. As we crossed the Million Dollar Bridge this gave us a perfect chance to take pictures of both the Childs and Miles glacier. So much fun that we have made this an annual event for our group.
