wonderful collection of fire memorabilia the owner has put a lot of time and hours into this display and knows the story of all the items on show he is very dedicated to the museum highly recommend this to any one passing through this lovely outback town

Loved seeing how different a shop was back in 1920s era. The building and shelving is all beautifully preserved, there are photos to show what it would have been like when fully stocked, advertising from back in the day, and of course the Cash Carrier. The only one still operational in its original store! Its like the game Mouse trap to carry money, so cool. The volunteer who talked to us was exceptionally knowledgable about the shop and how it operated, everything was so interesting, i highly recommend talking to the volunteers, they really make the experience something special. Out the back is another collection of farm machinery, fascinating in itself, especially the comments made by the original collector of the items. And out in the back carpark area is a collection of miniature farm machinery which was hand made to be seen, amazing in itself

Definitely a must try. Service is friendly and quick and did I mention how fabulous the food was?? It is. The menu is limited but the servings are generous and there is enough of a selection to ensure you don't go away hungry. I have since ordered take away and nothing disappoints. The gallery part of the restaurant has some beautiful pieces and the clothing is quite lovely.
