Jaegerborg Dyrehave

Reviewed By Sunshine791531 - Gentofte, Denmark

Its located in north of Copenhagen in a quiet peaceful countryside. It's a very amazing place specially for those who love nature and antique. The trees are more than 100 years old and even if they fall from age no one will touch them. There are around 2000 deers, you can see them when they fight or run. There is also old castle which is left untouched for 350 years. Generally it's amazing place I every see in copenhagen.

Baadfarten Day Tours

Baadfarten has since the early 1890ies sailed on Bagsværd Lake, Lyngby lake- Millstream and Furesøen. The lakes are surrounded by stunning, lush nature whereof several areas are protected. The Bagsværd lake has been used for rowing competitions for decades and there is always a sense of bustling activities in and around the lake. A significant part of the experience on the Lyngby lake os the cosy Millstream. The stream is more than 30 km long and is a natural stream which emerged after the ice age. Later it was excavated in the 1880's as part of the Copenhagen's defense. Furesøen is the deepest lake in Denmark and on this tour you will experience marvelous nature. At the ticket house on Sorgenfrivej 23 in Lyngby, you can buy your ticket. The ticket house is approx. 700 m. from Lyngby train station, and there are likewise train stations and parking options close to other departure points.

Nice art museum on the brink of Bagsværd Sø. The surrounding park is also an ideal spot for a family picnic. Consider going to and from the museum using the Baadfarten boat service. Really a nice ecperience.
