Canberra Reptile Zoo

Reviewed By Aly1961 - Sydney, Australia

I really enjoyed this...a very small reptile zoo fitted into a building that they make work....It is a super close encounter with the reptiles & many are available for you to touch, whilst they are still in their exhibits or they are providing talks & you are allowed to touch them. It was very homely & they had many areas including a bbq area, party area and outside area. I would happily go again. $16 to get in which I thought very reasonable.

Gold Creek Station

Reviewed By thewickedwench - Ashford, United Kingdom

I visited there this week with a group of travellers on our way from Sydney to Canberra. I didn’t know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the layout , facilities and welcome that Craig and his parent showed us during our stay . We learnt a little about Davo the sheep wrangling Kelpie and I even got to wrangle a sheep to the ground myself . After watching a sheep being sheared and learning about the wool we had an amazing bbq lunch and a chance to chat with our hosts and learn more about that part of Australia . I highly recommend it and would go again if passing through .

One Tree Hill Lookout Walk (Centenary Trail)

For a taste of the Canberra Centenary trail this is a great introduction. Be rewarded with great views and plenty of bird life as you gradually ascend to the One Tree Hill Lookout. Keep an eye out for the critically endangered Orange Sunshine Moth when relaxing at the summit Lookout.

Yerrabi Pond District Park

Reviewed By suet404 - Canberra, Australia

A great place to exercise with your four legged friend (on leash) or a walk with friends. Great pathed ways around the pond which makes it easy to take a pram etc. Lovely birds in the pond and great play area for children. The pathway around the pond takes about an hour (easy stroll) and is so enjoyable. Easy for walkers/runners/bike riders etc.
