Arang Kel

Reviewed By sobiap63 - Karachi, Pakistan

Arang kel is one of the most beautiful meadows in Kashmir . from Kel u have two options - take an army monitored chair lift or trek for 3-4 hours . Chair lift cost us 100 pkr per person for a return ride . Caution - chair lifts stop working at 6 pm ! return on time or make your mind to stay the night there . Place is beautiful but cold calm and windy . a light drizzle is frequent in September. there are restaurants and hotels in Arang kel . Hike takes roughly an hour and is a little challenging at spots . if you slip u fall on rocks ! hiking sticks can be borrowed for 30 ruppee per stick . One of the highlights of Kashmir trip
