Tiyi By Design is an exclusive Caribbean brand producing exquiste, hand crafted art jewelry. Each piece is individually designed by professional metalsmith/art jeweller, Ichia Tiyi. The artist will work in the studio for the visitor to view the process live, and they can also learn to create a small piece of jewelry for themselves.
This is my second visit to Barbados and to see Ichia as well for an amazing piece of her jewelry. She is a lovely person and her jewelry is one of a kind. My wrists are small so both times she had to make my bracelets smaller which I really appreciated. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

We had a great day in Barbados, thanks to Tervette Tours! We were on a cruise, and I booked the Heritage Railway Excursion at St. Nicholas Abbey online; they recommended Tervette Tours, which has 5 stars, and I arranged a private tour with them via email. Yvette picked us up at the cruise port in a lovely van, took us to the train excursion, and after the tour, for a delish lunch at the Flower Cave Restaurant, before driving us back to the ship. A great day, and HIGHLY recommended!

You simply must visit St Nicholas Abbey when you visit Barbados. Built in the Jacobean style during the 1600s, with most of the furniture still intact, the guided tour is expertly and professionally conducted as you step back in theme on a sugar cane and rum distillery plantation. You will not regret the short taxi drive and you will rave forever about the view from Chrysler Tree Hill. Allan and Bonnie Asselin Ontario, Canada

Very knowledgeable curator, excellent gallery of very fine Bajan artists, including all of our favourites, especially Anne Dodson, Penny Rollitt and clayworks from the Earth and Fire Studios.

An unexpected delight. The best of modern museum display techniques tells the history of Speightstown and its local industries. This small museum in a historic building is well worth a visit - allow an hour or so. The ground floor is free, but there is a charge of $25BDS per person to view the upper floors. The building is, untypically, owned by the local National Trust, so treat the fee as a donation to a good cause. You'll probably get a guided tour as the museum is not busy.
