We booked A Scottish Play for my 2 daughter's birthdays and they had a blast! Mattie was our host and was so much fun or as they called her "The Lady in the Walls" everything in this escape room was so well thought out and so much fun. The kids are still talking about it and now they can't wait for you guys to come up with another room! Escape Ashland definitely does not disappoint. And they are sooooo accommodating! Would highly recommend.

Oregon Shakespeare Festival

You don't need to head to England to experience the genius of a Shakespearean play. Much closer to home is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival located in Ashland, Oregon. Every year at the end of October you can enjoy on average over ten of Shakespeare's plays performed in both classic and newly imagined style. Separate tickets are needed for each show which is held at one of the event campus's two indoor or one outdoor spaces.

Lithia Park

Lithia Park is a jewel in the heart of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival plaza and lovely homes in downtown Ashland, OR. During my recent visit, I took advantage of the cool and breezy summer air - before the temperature reached the mid 90's - venturing on a short morning stroll through the meandering park capturing scenic photo opportunities while greeting joggers, exercisers and travelers along the way. I even took a sip from the nearby and historic lithia mineral spring water fountain...ooh, taste the sulfur. There are great public spaces for picnics, family gatherings, playgrounds, fountains, gardens, foliage/trees, outdoor theater-type performances, tennis courts, and bridges over water ways. My only regret is that I did not allow enough time to take in all of the beauty of this not to be missed park spaces...next time.

Oregon Cabaret Theatre

The Oregon Cabaret Theatre has provided first-class entertainment and dining in the Rogue Valley for the last thirty-four years. A remodeled church located one block from OSF, the Cabaret’s venue oozes with the old school charm of the jazz era. The restaurant produces exceptional dishes and whether you have a pre-show dinner reservation or just just order drinks and dessert for intermission, the dining pairs well with the Cabaret’s exceptional productions.

Oregon Cabaret Theatre is in a renovated church building that has been tastefully turned into a dinner theatre. All the seats were good. I’d all their productions are as good as this one, it’s worth a night off from the Shakespeare Festival or a good reason to go to Ashland in the “off” season.
