What a fun activity! See the pictures! If you're in Hatyai, you have to go! We spend about 1,5 hours inside the museum. Its right next to the nightmarket and hy-square.

The Phathammarong Museum is not only 'free' to go in, but it is well maintained and the caretaker I encountered was very helpful and offered genuine warmth. She spoke very highly of the former prime minister and his family. I regret I didn't catch her name. She's lovely. The museum has many interesting photos and memorabilia to look at. It is also the starting point for the tram.
