It lends its name to the surrounding area Val di Noto. In 2002 Noto and its church were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Departure for Taormina - during the journey we will make a small stop of about 20 minutes for a panoramic view to Isola Bella and continue to Taormina. Return to Syracuse. With a couple of friends I made this tour. After a pleasent ride, with a coffee stop, we arrived at Villa Romana del Casale, where we admired the beautiful mosaïcs. In the neighborhood from the Villa, Giovanni arranged a nice lunch at a very good restaurant. After that we continued the journey to the Valle dei Templi, where we enjoyed the wonderful temples and a stunning sunset. Giovanni has an comfortable car, is an excellent driver, is enthusiastic, very kind and is doing his utmost to make you feel at ease. It was a marvelous day. Highly recommended!

We used this company for a week-long trip to Sicily, including airport transfers, hotel transfers between Taormina, Siracusa, and Ragusa, and a few site and winery tours. The driving service was excellent---on time, professional, and knowledgeable. Both Francesco and Luciano were wonderful. We booked a few specialized tours on our own and those turned out to be better than the tours we booked through this company. I think guides can be hit or miss---Mila in Siracusa was wonderful and Teresa in Agrigento was on her telephone the entire time she was with us. The wineries they booked for us were also hit and miss---Murgo on Etna had great wines but we arrived an hour early and had to stand around in the rain, and the biodynamic winery in Noto (Cantina Marilina) had great food but wines that were largely undrinkable. There was also a problem with our chocolate tasting tour in Modica so we missed the laboratory visit. But I can't fault the company for the guides or the wineries, really. They are basically an excellent chauffeur service, and we can wholly recommend using them as a driving service. Their professionalism and courtesy made our holiday stress-free and, given the opportunity, we would book them again.

Sicily is beautiful and very different. Definitely a place to return. Though would not advise to stay in Giardini Naxos, the only benefit being sandy beaches.
