The vegan menu at Terry's is surprising for its variety for a place that seems primarily to cater to non-vegetarians. Three of us went, and we all found our orders good and tasty. Their main thrust isn't vegan/vegetarian but they do it right. The servers were really attentive and helpful. It seemed like there were lots of repeat customers, which is always a good sign. It has a local/neighborhood feel.

London Fish and Chips

I have been on the search for excellent English style Fish & Chips for probably 20 years ever since Milroys closed down in East Detroit. Well I had read some reviews of this place and was finally in the area to give it a try. Small place probably 6 tables one man working doing it all. Ordered the Two piece with fries, slaw and hush puppies and a Coke. Sat at a table and he started to prepare it. He brought out the Coke which tasted more like a RC Cola, the fish basket arrived and it looked pretty good. The fries were thick cut and obviously frozen the two pieces of fish a decent size and the two hush puppies small. Unfortunately the best thing in the tray was the coleslaw the fries meh and the fish ordinary. For a place with Fish & Chips in the title you would hope they would nail it. But it wasn't much different then what you would hear and any family place in metro Detroit. So my search continues
