Ixmiquilpan (Otomi: Ntsʼu̱tkʼani) is a city and one of the 84 municipalities of Hidalgo, in central-eastern Mexico. It is located on the Mexico City/Nuevo Laredo Highway at km 170 in the central west part of the state of Hidalgo. The town of Ixmiquilpan is noted for its parish church, Church of San Miguel Arcangel, which contains a large series of murals done in the 16th century by native artists depicting Eagle and Jaguar warriors in battle, along with other pre-Hispanic imagery.

Even though the place is a Pizza and Pasta it was full of local people which gave it a local environment. The food was OK, nothing special and the service was very good. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful.
The restaurant is in front of the central plaza near other coffer and ice cream places

The TripAdvisor reviews led us to this place. Out of town on a busy highway, not a romantic location so we would not have chosen this place by it location or looks. However, once inside, all is good. Celebramos aqui la comida de fiestas patrias de la oficina. Lugar muy pintoresco y la comida espectacular. El pozole algo picoao pero muy rico. Muy cerca del zócalo y de facil acceso. Precio muy accesible.
