I along with my family visited Jim Corbett for two days. On both the days we had dinner at village vatika restaurant. Their preparations is very good & price is quite reasonable. Location of the restaurant is very good. It is situated right right on the main road near all the good resorts. But they should improve their service which is very slow. They take around 20-25 minutes to complete the order. I recommend all the travelers to try the food at least once.

Both vegetarian and non vegetarian varieties are delicious. Specially loved the kumaon chicken and aloo though very spicy. Cheese shahi kabab was very different and very good. Excellent service by Nand Kishor and Lalit . Everything we ordered was yum including the breads. Mutton sheekh kabab has a tinge of sweetness.

As always when I arrive at Jim Corbett park, in Uttarakhand. There is wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staffs offers great Indian food. My favorite is butter chicken with drinks.

It was a small eatery next to our hotel. We had a breakfast there - tried poha, masala maggie, gobhi parantha, veg Sandwich, butter toast and coffee/tea. Coffee and poha was very good. Veg Sandwich and butter toast was simply tasty. Parantha was a bit disappointing due to less stuffing. One of the good thing about this place is its super quick service along with its low priced menu.
